Legendary tool-ability, unmatched quality, Hermann Oak natural vegetable tanned cowhide leather. This leather comes from U.S. domestic steers, and is tanned in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. From saddles to belts, picture carving to wet molding, and so much more, Hermann Oak leather is as good as it gets. We offer 2 grades, Craftsman grade, and B grade. The Craftsman grade is going to have more surface imperfections (we call it character) and the B grade is going to be cleaner on the surface. Note: The quality of the leather in terms of durability, workability, and tannage are exactly the same. The grading comes straight from the manufacturer. Leather sold by the SQFT is NOT going to be perfectly square, sides will vary from 20-24+ SQFT, and rolls contain 5 sides. Single Shoulders range from 5-7 SQFT.

Herman Oak ?

Leather seems okay but not like any other Herman Oak I’ve used. Are you sure that it’s really Herman Oak?
